About us & latest news

Welcome to the website of Wood Green Youth Football Club.

About us

We are a friendly, community-based football club based in the Wood Green/Bounds Green area of north London. We currently have 4 youth teams, ranging from under 9s to under 15s, all playing in competitive leagues in north London. We also run a number of men's teams through our parent club, Wood Green Old Boys FC. We have a long and proud history, with our club dating back to the 1960s and offering football to all in the local and wider community. We have been awarded Charter Standard Status by the Football Association. This is the benchmark for quality in football at grassroots level. All of our coaches are FA qualified and hold CRB checks in line with Child Protection Legislation.

We are always looking for new players to join our club and contribute to our ongoing success both on and off the field. Find out more about us and how to join via the links on the left.
